LIGHT PROJECTIONS

This series is inspired by people’s habit of taking photos in which they insert themselves into light-based museum exhibits, such as James Turrell’s installation at the Mattress Factory. Through this project, I wanted to explore whether the motive for this trend stems from the individual’s desire to be present in the photo itself, or whether it is the strikingly beautiful effect these photos produce.
